What is Kundalini Yoga?

Kundalini Yoga and Meditation is a dynamic blend of spiritual, energetic, and physical practices.  It is known as the “yoga of awareness” as it brings one to the truth of who they are and the world around them.  Kundalini Yoga is a technology.  It consists of time tested yoga sets referred to as kriyas. These kriyas include mudra, eye focus (dhristi), asana (postures), mantra, and meditation all practiced in a specific sequence to bring about a certain result.

Kundalini Yoga assists with balancing the glandular system, strengthening the nervous system, detoxing the bloodstream, clearing and balancing the chakra system, increasing focus and concentration, and bringing about an overall sense of calm. The goal of Kundalini Yoga is to build physical vitality, increase consciousness, and elevate one to their own excellence.  It is a deeply healing practice.

The practice of Kundalini Yoga and Meditation works on raising the subtle kundalini energy that is located at the base of the spine. Kundalini is the energy of our awareness and creativity.  When we properly prepare the body and the nervous system by practicing KY we allow for this energy raise in a safe way. When kundalini is awakened and utilized we can experience innate joy, radiance, vitality, and sense of well- being.

Regular KY practice facilitates a deeper awareness and connection to your full creative potential.  If your soul is guiding you through a transformation, a need to open up creative channels, or an overall life change, chances are it will guide you to a Kundalini Yoga class. 

We are no longer offering a Kundalini Yoga Class at the studio, but we occasionally offer workshops with a Kundalini practice.

Beneficial during your pregnancy, labor, and delivery. Stretching, flexibility, and relaxation to help prepare your body for labor and delivery. Helps to improve quality of sleep, stress management, and anxiety. Helps to reduce fatigue, manage morning sickness, mood swings, reduce heart burn, SPD (Symphysis Pubic Disorder) and more...

Classes include: Meditation, breathing exercises, and poses for each trimester. Always check with your physician before starting any yoga programs.

We are no longer offering a Special PreNatal Yoga Class at the studio, but we can guide you to options the work great for Pre and Post Natal.

How does the monthly unlimited pass work?

Monthly Unlimited Pass is valid for all "Classes" held at Transparent Heart Yoga. This Pass is not valid for Workshops, Private Sessions, or any other Events held at Transparent Heart Yoga. Monthly Unlimited Pass will automatically renew each month for the amount of $108.00 with a stored Debit/Credit Card, 3-Billing Cycle minimum. Client agrees to give 30 Days Notice prior to the next scheduled payment via Email prior to the cancellation of this pass. Non-refundable and non-transferable.
