It’s Time for Some Yin

Led by Amanda James and Lyndi Rose Hayes

This workshop is the third part in a continuing series offered by Lyndi Hayes and Amanda James in an effort to share the benefits and theory behind a Yin-like, relaxation practice.

Discover the physical and mental benefits of a Yin Yoga Practice. Within the practice of Yin, we offset the more Yang forms of exercise like running, power yoga, weight lifting, etc. We will explore and stretch deeply into the muscles and connective tissues of the body so that we can relax and detoxify the body and mind.

Upon concluding this Yin-like practice, students will be led through a yoga “sleep” to ensure that the body is ready for a nice, long Savasana!

Open to all students at all levels, even suitable if you’ve never practiced Yoga before.

This workshop is an in depth sampling of the Deep Stretch / Yin classes taught on Tuesday and Thursday nights at 7:15pm at the studio.
