Sheri and Stephanie’s MFR (Myofascial Release) Yoga and Sound Healing workshop brings the best of hands-on MFR, restorative yoga, unwinding, rebounding, kundalini yoga, and vibrational sounds of the gong for an ultimate relaxation and self-awareness treatment experience. You will find release and deepen your awareness of the resonance of your body with the vibration of the gong. Sheri and Stephanie will guide you in finding the techniques, positions, or tools you need to release tension in your body. The gentle positions are a guide, but you will unwind and find what you need individually for your own body to release with the subtle guidance and hands on skills that MFR therapy provides.
Hour 1-1.5: MFR with Sheri: Self-awareness, body scanning, gentle sustained stretch poses, gentle movement transitions, use of yoga block, ball, bolsters in self-treatment. Gong will be played in sections of this class. Free 4” vinyl MFR ball courtesy of Sheri, so that you can continue your treatment at home.
Hour 1.5-3: Kundalini Yoga with Stephanie. Gentle Movement, rebounding, energetic movement with breathing training. Putting it all together, long savasana with Gong sound.
